Please note: Moving content will break all sharing permissions and those will need to be reestablished.

 

1. Navigate in Google Drive to your Shared Drive

 

2. Open the Shared Drive you wish to migrate. In the Shared Drive, create a new folder with the same name as the Shared Drive.

 

3. Drag all the folders in the Shared Drive into the newly created folder with the same name as the Shared Drive. You will be asked to confirm moving these items and warned that the shared permissions might change. Click "Move".

 

4. Drag the newly created folder with the same name as the Shared Drive into My Drive. 

 

5. You will be asked to confirm moving the folder into My Drive and warned that the shared permissions will be broken. Click "Move".

 

6. Delete the Shared Drive by right clicking on it and select "Delete shared drive".
