The following instructions will show you how to install Avaya Workplace on your Windows or Macintosh computer. For instructions on mobile devices, please review this article: How to install Avaya Workplace on your Mobile Device (iOS and Android)
1) Download the software from one of the below links:
Windows
Click on the below link, download and run the installer.
Avaya Workplace Setup 3.35.1.30.29.msi
Mac
Click on the below link, download and run the installer.
AvayaWorkplaceMacOS-3.35.0.167.23.dmg
2) Locate the installer. Typically it will be found in your Downloads folder
3) Run the installer and follow the prompts...
4) Once the installer completes, Avaya Workplace should open automatically. If not, locate and launch Avaya Workplace.
5) When prompted, click Configure My Account.
6) Enter your email address in the email field, then click Next.
7) 4) You will need to enter the following information in the below fields, then click Next.
Extension: Your four-digit extension
Password: Your WesID/EmployeeID number (6 digits found on your WesID card)
This will configure your app with settings for our environment.
NOTE: On Windows, you may get a prompt on Windows Defender if it can be accessed on public, private, and domain networks. Click Allow.
When you first launch Avaya, you should ensure the application is set to use your desired microphone and speaker (if you decide to utilize your computer's built in microphone/speakers or if you have an external headset). The quickest way to do this is to click on the devices icon towards the bottom right corner and set your audio devices there (it is indicated as an icon with a microphone and camera, and it looks like this: ).

By default, Avaya Workplace is configured to dial 9 for outside calls and to add 1 for long distance, meaning it is not necessary add 9 and 1 when dialing from the app. If this is not working as expected, you can verify those settings are correctly configured.
1) Click the gear icon to go to Settings.
2) Click on the Advanced tab.
3) Once in the Dialing Rules settings, you should verify the following settings are correct
